COVID-19 UPDATE

Updated August 2021

A message from Pastor Oliver,

We are aware of the recent announcements from the CDC recommending that masks be worn indoors in parts of the U.S. designated as “high risk”. Unfortunately, this includes many counties in Texas, especially the Metroplex. In an effort to protect our church members, their families and each other, masks will be required for anyone attending our in-person church services until the guidelines have once again been relaxed. This recommendation also applies to fully vaccinated people.

Why are we doing this?

• As we have done throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we will continue to follow the guidelines and recommendations from the CDC, other science-based organizations, and medical experts.

• More infectious variants are circulating in Texas, and millions more people need to be vaccinated.

• Simply put, we know that wearing masks works in preventing the spread of COVID-19.

Thank you for doing everything possible to help us protect our church members, their families and each other. By doing this, we are showing our love to our neighbor (James 2:8).

I encourage you to continue patiently waiting in the Lord, trusting that our future is in His hands, and that the best is yet to come!
